About Us

Marcel and Cindy Plouffe have been the owners of Glass Service Center since 2003.  Marcel has over 38 years of knowledge and hands-on experience in all aspects of the glass and glazing industry.  He started in the industry at a glass shop in Fort Walton Beach in 1986, training first as a glazer, and eventually moving up to managing in both the contract and service departments.

In 1999, the family moved to Georgia so that Marcel could take on the position of Customer Service Manager for Oldcastle Building Envelope (previously Vistawall). This move provided the added experience of the Architectural Metal/Manufacturing & Supplier division of the industry that serves our customers so well to this day!

Marcel is also a decorated war veteran, with 22 years of military service in the USAF both active duty and AF Reserves.  He retired in 2004, after receiving multiple awards and accolades for his service. This experience helped to mold his committed work ethic that GSC customers and employees can count on.

Cindy serves GSC as Office Manager, with a background in Office Administration, Customer Service, and Bookkeeping. She brings many years of experience gained as a self-employed Quickbooks Accounting Software Consultant for small businesses.
